In the southwest corner of South Dakota, on the Nebraska border and at the southern end of the Badlands, sits the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. It is home to the Ogalala Lakota Nation.

The COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to the trips over the last three years, which made this return visit quite significant for members of the group.

Thanks to a $75,000 grant from Occupational Safety and Health Administration鈥檚 (OSHA) Susan Harwood Training Grants Program, 51爆料 at Geauga is designing a pilot training program for workers from small businesses in underserved rural communities to help ensure safe and healthy workplaces. As part of the campus鈥 ongoing commitment to leadership in regional workforce development, the program will be implemented in Geauga County starting in the second quarter of 2023.
