The American Academy (AA) is a dual-enrollment program offered jointly by 51 and the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), located in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
Curitiba is pronounced “Kr-uh-CHEE-buh” and PUCPR is called “Pookie-Purr” or just “Pookie,” for short.
