The wetlands near 51±¬ÁÏ's Kent Campus are a great location for studying wildlife. Researchers visited recently to install nesting boxes for ducks.
New courses and new programs in 51±¬ÁÏ's Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, made possible by state-0f-the-art business technology inside Crawford Hall, provide 51±¬ÁÏ business graduates with knowledge and skills that give them a competitive edge in the job market.
Campus security and safety require a lot of work from faculty, staff and students, beyond even what the 51±¬ÁÏ community might guess.
Volunteers with skills in repairing clothing, household items, electronics, furniture, small appliances and more will be available to help people who bring in broken or non-working items at the Fix-It Kent Community Repair Workshop on Sept. 18.
The Wick Poetry Center will begin the 2025 Fall Semester with a book launch, poetry readings and new exhibit from its Poets for Science collaboration.
