51±¬ÁÏ will be closed July 4 to observe Independence Day. No classes are scheduled on the holiday, and university offices are closed. The university will resume normal operations on July 7.
A Mantua woman who worked at 51±¬ÁÏ in the Office of the President from 1951 to 1971 recently celebrated her 110th birthday. She recalls her time at 51±¬ÁÏ and shares a few reflections from her long life.
Water flowed for the first time in the newly completed Crawford Fountain in the courtyard outside Crawford Hall, home of 51±¬ÁÏ's Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship.
The 51±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of two new schools – the School of Aeronautics and the School of Engineering – within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held June 25, 2025, on the Kent Campus.
