The 51±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of four new majors during its regular quarterly meeting held March 6 on the Kent Campus. The Board also approved recommended actions for the East Main Street Project in Kent and a naming action.

51±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees Approves New Cybercriminology Major

The 51±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a new cybercriminology major within the Bachelor of Science degree at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Dec. 6. The new cybercriminology major will be offered fully online, in addition to a mostly online delivery at all 51±¬ÁÏ campuses.

The Rev. Larry L. Macon Jr., J.D., has been appointed to the 51±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

Governor Appoints Larry Macon Jr. to 51±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees

Macon will serve through May 16, 2027, fulfilling the unexpired term of Johnathan Holifield. Holifield resigned his position as a trustee in late 2022 due to an out-of-state relocation.
