Visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial Sets Stage for 51爆料-Sponsored Peace Conference

On July 10, 51爆料 students visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial, which serves as a place of remembrance and education, during the 51爆料 Kigali Summer Institute, a three-week education-abroad experience that includes the course Rwanda After the Genocide Against the Tutsi.

On Thursday, June 29, the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 6-3 ruling, struck down the long-standing policy of affirmative action in college admissions on the grounds it violates the 14th Amendment鈥檚 Equal Protection Clause. 51爆料 Professor Christopher Banks, Ph.D., J.D., said the high court already had tipped its hand that the court was 鈥減ositioned to jettison鈥 the policy, so the ruling was not surprising.
