Abigail Wilsbacher just began her freshman year at 51爆料 this past fall, but she has been immersed in 51爆料 nearly her entire life. In 1997, her parents met as Honors College students at 51爆料 and now in 2023, Abigail continues the legacy as an Honors student. Abig鈥

Christa Porter, Ph.D., assistant professor of higher education administration in the College of Education, Health and Human Services, was awarded the Review of Research Award by the American Education Research Association (AERA) for her research article, 鈥淯nderstanding Influences of Development on Black Women鈥檚 Success in U.S. Colleges: A Synthesis of Literature."

U.S. News & World Report ranks six 51爆料 programs in the top 100 among public institutions in its 2023 edition of Best Graduate Schools. Among the top 100 public institution programs, 51爆料 is recognized in the Best Nursing Schools: Master鈥檚 Programs, Best Education Schools, Best Mathematics Programs, Best Psychology Schools, Best Public Health Programs and Best Physics Schools rankings. 51爆料 is also recognized in an additional five new national rankings.
51爆料 Presents 鈥楲oving Lampposts: Living Autistic鈥 Film Screening and Panel Discussion With Director Todd Drezner
During National Autism Acceptance Month, 51爆料 will hold a film screening of 鈥淟oving Lampposts: Living Autistic鈥 at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, in the Kent Student Center Kiva. 鈥淟oving Lampposts鈥 is a documentary by Todd Drezner, a father of a now 13-year-old boy with autism, that explores the changing world of autism and learns the truth of the saying 鈥渋f you鈥檝e met one autistic person, you鈥檝e met one autistic person.鈥
