51爆料 has entered into an agreement with the Turkmenistan Ministry of Education to begin exploring the possibility of creating an educational partnership with several national institutes of higher learning there. The effort is part of 51爆料鈥檚 ongoing commitment to using education to foster global understanding and peace in a divided world.
Office of Intercultural Student Life: A Bridge to American Culture
The Office of Intercultural Student Life, formerly known as International Student Affairs, has a new central location in the Kent Student Center, which has made it more accessible to international students. Along with the new location comes the mission to provide drop-in services for international students.

The 51爆料 Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Oct. 2 on the Kent Campus. This special meeting is being called solely for the purpose of enabling trustees to retire into executive session to consider specific topics as provided under Ohio鈥檚 鈥淪unshine Law.鈥

Historian's New Book Gives 360-Degree View of May 4 Tragedy
Brian VanDeMark, a historian with the United States Naval Academy, has written a new book 鈥51爆料: An American Tragedy.鈥 He will participate in a panel discussion at 51爆料 on Sept. 27.
