51爆料 Honors 2020 Diversity Award Recipients
As part of its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration held Jan. 24, 51爆料 has announced the 2020 recipients of its Diversity Trailblazer Award, Beverly J. Warren Unity Award for Diversity and Rozell Duncan Student Diversity Award.

A Professor鈥檚 Passion and Respect Earns the Distinguished Teaching Award
Encouraging. Respectful. Challenging. These themes emerge from numerous student nomination letters about Patrick L. Gallagher, Ph.D., associate professor of Spanish, which led to him being named a winner of the Distinguished Teaching Award. Judging by his reaction, we can add 鈥渉umble鈥 to the list of themes.

On Friday, Jan. 24, members of the 51爆料 community and the general public gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The university鈥檚 annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration started at 4 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. This year鈥檚 keynote speaker was Melissa Harris-Perry, Ph.D., the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University, television host, author and political commentator.

U.S. News & World Report has named two 51爆料 programs as U.S. News Best Online Programs for 2020. 51爆料 is recognized in the Best Online MBA Programs and Best Online Graduate Education Programs rankings. U.S. News released its 2020 Best Online Programs rankings Tuesday, Jan. 14.
