Students Address Real Issues Facing the Fashion Industry
Two School of Fashion students were recognized recently by the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) as 2023 FSF Scholars.
The annual FSF Case Study Scholarship is the Fashion Scholarship Fund's signature program, asking applicants to address real issues facing the fashion industry today. This year, the organization recognized 127 FSF Scholars from colleges and universities across the United States. In addition to a financial award, FSF Scholars receive access to internships and full-time jobs through partner companies and enjoy ongoing professional development and support.

TEXTURES Exhibition Receives Arts Alive Award for Collaborative Project
The 51爆料 Museum exhibition 鈥淭EXTURES: the history and art of Black hair鈥 has been awarded the Arts Alive award for Collaborative Project for 2022. The exhibition was co-curated by Dr. Joseph Underwood, associate professor of art history, and Dr. Tameka Ellington, former associate professor of fashion and interim assistant dean for the College of the Arts.

The School of Fashion announces the return of its acclaimed in-person Fashion Show, April 28-30, 2022, in Rockwell Hall on the Kent Campus. The presenting sponsor of the 2022 show is renowned American department store, Dillard鈥檚 Inc. Dillard鈥檚 is a long-time supporter of the School of Fashion, and the Dillard family was inducted into the school鈥檚 Hall of Fame in 2019.
