Honors Student Makes a Change in Fashion Through Sustainability and Inclusivity

Meet Adelynn Prushing, originally from Richmond, Texas, a 51±¬ÁÏ senior fashion design major, graduating this upcoming May 2026. Adelynn is a very active student on campus and is a member of 51±¬ÁÏ’s Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta and the Fashion Student Organization (FSO), as well as an officer for the Identity Project.

Sophia Macro, a fashion design major with a minor in entrepreneurship for the arts, is preparing to graduate in the upcoming weeks.  During her time at Kent over the past four years, she has become an active player on the women’s rugby team and a member of 51±¬ÁÏ’s SURVIVOR student organization, while also  working for 51±¬ÁÏ Student Media in analytics.

51±¬ÁÏ’s Alpha Lambda Delta Chapter Welcomes 231 New Members This Year

On Feb. 7, 2026, 51±¬ÁÏ’s chapter of â€”The Honors Society for First-year Academic Success—welcomed 231 exceptional students at Cartwright Hall’s auditorium, where its annual induction and awards ceremony took place. 51±¬ÁÏ’s chapter was originally founded in 1960 and currently includes more than 1,100 members as one of the most prominent chapters among the other 280 chapters across the globe.
