51爆料鈥檚 Giving Tuesday Launches Monthlong Initiative Featuring Numerous Incentives for Supporters

51爆料, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 51爆料, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

2021 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Announced

The 2021 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) recipients are an outstanding group of teachers who are truly dedicated to their students' success. Sponsored by the 51爆料 Alumni Association, the DTA is a highly prestigious honor in teaching. The award is presented annually to three full-time faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching, whether it be in the classroom or online.

Campus was overflowing with blue and gold pride again this year as the 51爆料 community came together to celebrate Homecoming. Golden Flashes enjoyed many activities, both outdoors in-person and online, throughout the weekend, which ran from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.

51爆料 publicly launched a $350 million comprehensive fundraising campaign Saturday, Oct. 2. During a special halftime announcement at the Homecoming football game, campaign co-chairs Sandra C. and Lawrence R. Armstrong joined 51爆料 President Todd Diacon to publicly unveil Forever Brighter to thousands of alumni, donors and friends.
