The Fresh Start Fair on Jan. 17 was presented by 51爆料's Center for Student Involvement to give students returning from winter break an opportunity to take a fresh look at student organizations that they might want to join. Studies have shown that students who participate in student organizations typically get better grades and have greater satisfaction with their overall college experience. At the 51爆料 School of Fashion, students get access to world-class industry professionals and brands, including the world leader in French lace, Solstiss Lace. Through a collaboration with Solstiss Lace and the 51爆料 NYC Fashion program, students in the Junior Design Studio I class had the opportunity to design with French lace donated by the brand. Top designs from fashion schools across the country were then selected to exhibit in the Historic Lace Museum of Caudry in Northern France as part of the Solstiss Academy.
