The School of Communication Studies welcomes Aaron Bacue as a new faculty member. Bacue comes to 51爆料 with 17 years of experience teaching communication at the university level, most recently at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Bacue joins the school as an assistant professor, specializing in interpersonal, relational and non-verbal communication. A decade ago this week, Andrew Curtis, Ph.D., geography professor in 51爆料鈥檚 College of Arts and Sciences, promised the people of New Orleans that he would continue to return and document the recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina. After the hurricane, Curtis used specialized cameras, equipped with GPS, to help direct rescue helicopters and medical crews through the flooded and impassable areas.
