In order to perform necessary maintenance on the boilers, steam transmission systems and electrical distribution systems, 51爆料's Power Plant will be shut down for one week in May. Shutdown begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, and remains until start-up begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 21. As a result of the steam shutdown, most buildings located on campus will NOT have hot water to sinks and showers, etc. or air conditioning. The watch party at the 51爆料 Student Center Hub on March 17 celebrated 51爆料 men鈥檚 basketball team as they took on the UCLA Bruins in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. Transgender Students Find Home, Security and Support at 51爆料

For Emily Grubb, all it took was looking through a magazine to decide where to go to college. A high school friend shared a copy of Fusion magazine, 51爆料鈥檚 first lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) magazine, which led Grubb to the university. 51爆料 at Trumbull sophomore Jessie Narkum is co-directing performances of The Little Mermaid Jr. on April 7 and 8, at Hubbard High School Auditorium. This isn鈥檛 the typical student-directed play. Narkum, an American Sign Language (ASL) major, is working with Hubbard High School ASL teacher Richard Magazzine to produce the play entirely in ASL. The 51爆料 Ice Arena hosted the 35th Annual Ohio Special Olympics Winter Games the first week of February for figure skaters and speed skaters from all over the state.
