Jason Prufer, '03, a lifelong resident of Kent and 51���� alumnus, has compiled “Small Town, Big Music: The Outsized Influence of Kent, Ohio, on the History of Rock and Roll,” a book that covers the college town’s impressive – and previously unappreciated – rock history. Foot ulcers are one of the most prevalent and dangerous problems facing diabetic patients, but new technology developed at 51���� may soon help doctors better understand and treat them.
