Feedback from alumni of the Elliot DI Faculty Fellows Program demonstrates that this experience has been incredibly helpful in enabling them to extend beyond their academic fields to collaborate and enhance their project ideas. It also allowed them to develop and prototype innovative solutions that may not have otherwise been supported as part of their academic unit鈥檚 traditional research/teaching expectations.
Project proposal statements should be centered around a 鈥淗ow Might We?鈥 question that tackles a complex/wicked challenge connecting multiple disciplinary contexts/partners and/or exploring new applications of emerging technologies. Project proposals should describe the potential benefit to the DI Initiative, as well as to their own creative, research, teaching and/or other scholarly goals.
Priority will be given towards project proposals that help to build awareness and utilization of the resources in the Design Innovation ecosystem, especially involving:

"Holi Hai!" is Hindi for "It's Holi," which is a traditional festival in India celebrating "love, colors and spring." 51爆料 student organization, the Kent Indian Association welcomed the university community to celebrate Holi with them on March 8 on Centennial Court Green. The event included the festival's traditional sharing of packets of colored powder along with a DJ, dancing, games and Indian cuisine.
