You're invited: Juneteenth Jubilee

51±¬ÁÏ will commemorate Juneteenth with a community celebration that combines the rich history of Black Americans with an assortment of festivities. Juneteenth Jubilee will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the Kent Campus, Student Green/Risman Plaza. Enjoy live performances, music, great food, vendors and more. This event is free and open to the public.

June's wellness theme is parental/caregiver wellness

Caring for others—as a parent, caregiver, friend, or simply a supportive presence—asks us to show up with patience, empathy and resilience. It's not about titles or roles, but about the everyday choices to listen, to nurture, and to hold space for growth—both our own and others’. Whether you’re raising a child, helping a loved one, or simply learning how to better care for yourself, consider signing up for selections like Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia on June 17 and Balancing Work and Caregiving on June 25.
