The global event is sponsored by Women in Aviation International (WAI) to introduce and encourage girls to pursue careers in aeronautics and aerospace. The Wick Poetry Center kicked off its 2019-20 event series year on September 13 with a celebration of Tommy Freeman鈥檚 life.
