This workshop is designed to help attendees learn the general instructions for utilizing the technology in the 51���� Hybrid Meeting Spaces. For this workshop, in-person attendance is recommended to see the tools first-hand.

Microsoft OneNote is a note taking app, included with Office 365, (Free for 51���� students, faculty and staff) that allows users to create & store notes, drawings, screen clippings and more. Visit Training.Kent.Edu to register.

Chrome River is 51����’s expense reimbursement tool. Users can create, submit, and track their reimbursements and approvers can approve reimbursements in an easy-to-use web based interface. Visit Training.Kent.Edu to register.

The Exploration Plan is a five-step process designed to help students explore their interests, transition to 51���� and eventually declare a major.

• Comfort with numbers and data
• Technical aptitude (no need to be a programming or statistics pro, but some proficiency is extremely useful)
• Openness to learning and collaboration
• Interest in making data actionable 

Michelle offers some advice for this aspect as well, stating, “Don’t let the lack of an analytics background hold you back. If you are curious, motivated, and willing to learn, you already have what it takes to succeed.”
