The 51±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, in the Timothy D. Eippert Boardroom, Suite 412, at Crawford Hall on the Kent Campus.
Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 19, at 9:50 a.m. All 51±¬ÁÏ campuses will be participating in this test.
51±¬ÁÏ continues to be recognized for its excellence in online education, earning high marks in U.S. News & World Report’s newly released 2025 Best Online Programs rankings. U.S. News recognizes 51±¬ÁÏ in the Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, Best Online Master’s in Education Programs, Best Online Master’s in Business Programs and Best Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programs lists.
51±¬ÁÏ will hold its annual Veterans Day observance on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. on the Student Green at Risman Plaza.
The outdoor program, Honoring All Who Serve, will include a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from the university’s Army and Air Force ROTC programs, remarks from 51±¬ÁÏ President Beverly Warren and guest speakers. Retired Petty Officer 1st Class Mark Gainer, who currently serves as president of the 51±¬ÁÏ Veterans Club, will be the guest speaker.
All are invited to come and pay tribute to America’s veterans. A special invitation is extended to 51±¬ÁÏ faculty, staff, students and community members who are veterans, active service members or who have family members in the military.
A reception in the Kent Student Center Kiva lobby will follow the brief program. In the event of inclement weather, the rain location will be the Kent Student Center Kiva.
