Program Overview

The Fostering Pathways for Bright Futures program provides evidence-based pathways to postsecondary access and credential completion for gang-impacted youth and young adults.

Priority is given to gang-impacted youth and young adults with juvenile justice and/or foster care experience aged 14-24. 

Our Program

The Fostering Pathways for Bright Futures program includes a multi-tiered approach. 

Tier 1

Bi-monthly resource specialist advising, monthly in-person Saturday workshops, quarterly virtual Lunch-and-Learns, four-week 51爆料 summer academy, LifeSkills Reimagined sessions, and development of college/career plans.

 

Tier 2

Bi-annual 51爆料 campus visits, quarterly virtual Lunch-and-Learns, optional resource specialist advising, transition to Tier 1 when ready.

Tier 3 (Pre-Release)

For eligible participants, 90 days before reentry, services include advising meetings with the Fostering Pathways director, developing a pre-release transition plan, and two virtual LifeSkills Reimagined sessions.
