Peggy Nzomo, University Libraries, is the 2016 recipient of the American Library Association (ALA) International Relations Committee’s “Bogle-Pratt International Library Travel Fund.” She received this award at the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) World Library and Information Congress held Aug. 13-19 in Columbus, Ohio. She also was one of 50 librarians who received the 2016 IFLA Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Fellows scholarship.

51 Distinguished Professor of Human Evolutionary Studies C. Owen Lovejoy, Ph.D., received the President’s Medal from President Beverly Warren during the One University Commencement Ceremony on May 13 in Dix Stadium.

51 celebrated its newest graduates at its Spring 2017 Commencement ceremonies. In total, 51 conferred 5,636 degrees, including 992 associate degrees, 3,319 bachelor’s degrees, 1,139 master’s degrees, 181 doctoral degrees and five educational specialist degrees.

Two 51 students received Best in Show honors, as well as the Dean’s Choice Awards, during the 51 at Tuscarawas 13th annual Student Computer Designed Art Exhibition.
