With the refresh of communications, university athletics is reviewing all Intercollegiate Athletics visual elements, including the athletics logo. 51 loves its athletics logo, so why consider changing it? It’s important that the logo captures the intense energy and bold attitude of the Golden Flashes.
Recently, 51 Libraries launched a redesigned website, located at , to reflect the university's new branding initiative. The features of the new site have been designed to make University Libraries experience more convenient, enjoyable and rewarding for the entire 51 community.
The 51 Alumni Association is seeking submissions for potential T-shirt designs for 51’s Homecoming 2017. A contest to create the winning T-shirt design for the Oct. 14 Homecoming festivities is open to all faculty, staff, students and alumni.
“We want to get the 51 community involved in Homecoming early,” says Joy Wesoloski, Homecoming chair and assistant director for alumni relations. “This is a great way to show your 51 pride and share your excitement for Homecoming.”

51 fans who could not make it to California for the big dance had their own party with Hoopin’ at the Hub. The watch party at the 51 Student Center Hub on March 17 celebrated 51’s Mid-American Conference Champions men’s basketball team.
