An initiative is underway to enhance 51爆料鈥檚 electronic and information technology (EIT) accessibility, underscoring the university鈥檚 long-standing commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
In order to perform necessary maintenance on the boilers, steam transmission systems and electrical distribution systems, 51爆料鈥檚 Power Plant will shut down from Sunday, May 14, at 6 p.m. until Sunday, May 21, at 6 p.m.
During the steam shutdown, most buildings located on campus will not have air conditioning and/or heat or hot water to sinks and showers.

The 51爆料 Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university鈥檚 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 51爆料 in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 51爆料 remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
