Endless Possibilities: Porthouse Theatre Presents Its 2026 Season

The outdoor summer theatre’s 58th season will begin June 13, 2026

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio – Porthouse Theatre, 51±¬ÁĎ’s outdoor summer theatre located on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, invites you to its season of possibilities, beginning on June 13, 2026. In its 58th season, Porthouse Theatre will present â€śG°ů±đ˛ą˛ő±đ,” “Side Show In Concert,” and â€śLerner and Loewe's Brigadoon” in the summer of 2026.

“G°ů±đ˛ą˛ő±đ” opens June 13 and runs through June 27. The preview performance will take place on June 13. Here is Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys’ and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin’,” “It’s Raining on Prom Night” and “Alone at the Drive-In Movie,” recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation

“G°ů±đ˛ą˛ő±đ” is written by Warren Casey and Jim Jacobs. The show debuted off-Broadway on February 14, 1972 at the Eden Theatre in New York City, transferring to Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre, and later to the Royale Theatre, closing on April 13, 1980 after a record-breaking 3,388 performances. Porthouse Theatre’s production of “G°ů±đ˛ą˛ő±đ” will be directed by Porthouse Theatre’s Producing Artistic Director Terri Kent, with Music Director Jennifer Korecki and Choreographer MartĂn CĂ©spedes.

“Side Show In Concert” opens July 8 and runs through July 18. A preview performance will take place on July 8. Based on the true story of Siamese twins Violet and Daisy Hilton who became stars during the Depression, “Side Show” is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extraordinary bondage brings them fame but denies them love. Told almost entirely in song, the show follows their progression from England to America, around the vaudeville circuit and to Hollywood on the eve of their appearance in the 1932 movie “Freaks.”

“Side Show In Concert” book and lyrics are written by Henrey Krieger, music is by Bill Russell with concert adaptation by Emma Butler. Porthouse Theatre’s production of “Side Show In Concert” will be directed by Porthouse Theatre’s Producing Artistic Director Terri Kent.

The 2026 Porthouse season will close with â€śLerner and Loewe's Brigadoon,” running July 25 through Aug. 9. A preview performance will take place on July 25. Lerner and Loewe’s “Brigadoon” is a timeless, romantic classic which vividly brings the mystery and magic of the Scottish highlands to life. New Yorker Tommy Albright unexpectedly arrives at the mysterious Scottish Highland village of Brigadoon, which only appears for one day every 100 years. When Tommy meets and falls in love with Fiona, a beautiful villager in this magical hamlet, he must decide whether to return to his old life, or stay in Brigadoon — forever.

“Brigadoon” book and lyrics are by Alan Jay Lerner with music by Frederick Loewe. Porthouse Theatre’s production of “Lerner and Loewe's Brigadoon ” is directed by Porthouse Theatre’s Producing Artistic Director Terri Kent, with Music Director Jennifer Korecki and Choreographer Martín Céspedes.
