 On Friday, December 6th, students in Dr. Kelsen LaBerge’s Introduction to Engineering course demonstrated their Hovercraft projects. This project serves as a class capstone, where students in the course were divided into teams that must successfully design, build, and fly a hovercraft that adheres to a specified budget. Teams collaborate to transform theoretical knowledge into working prototypes, demonstrating real-world problem-solving abilities. Teams navigate their hovercrafts through an obstacle course to demonstrate both design effectiveness and pilot skill. The hover...

Peter Yarrow, who brought his message of peace and justice to 51���� during May 4 commemorations as part of the legendary folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary, died Tuesday in New York.
