Together, the book and installation illuminate the history and resilience of Korea's "comfort women" during the Second World War, inviting reflection on how history and memory are continually reimagined and reinterpreted across culture, media and language. We're gathering on a Wednesday in recognition of the "Wednesday Demonstrations," which continue today across South Korea and Japan as an act of remembrance for the women.
