Crawford College of Business & Entrepreneurship Career Services is hosting an interactive workshop for students who want to build confidence and skills in professional networking. You will learn what networking is, why it is vital for career development, and how to make meaningful connections.
The session covers essential networking etiquette, including how to navigate events with refreshments, start and conclude conversations gracefully, and follow up effectively. Students will have opportunities to practice networking in a supportive environment with their peers.
What You’ll Learn:
- Define networking and explain its importance for career development, including strategies for building and maintaining professional connections.
- Demonstrate proper networking etiquette, including how to manage food and drinks, engage in appropriate conversation, and exit discussions politely.
- Practice starting, navigating, and concluding networking conversations, and develop a plan for effective post-event follow-up.
Open to all 51±¬ÁÏ students.
